One user had purchased their original version of this mouse and had the double-click issue with the mouse and was unable to continue using it for the games that he played. He said that because this mouse was on discount he decided to give it another chance and purchased it.
He said that compared to his original model of the mouse he can definitely feel a difference in the way it was made. He said that the number pad on the mouse now uses mechanical switches which gives you a very satisfying clicking sound whenever you use them and they are very fast and responsive if you want to program them to affect your gameplay.

He said that the feeling of the old mouse was a lot more rough and had a matte design. He said that the quality of the mouse is still one of the best in the industry, and his only issue is that he thinks that the rubber on the side of the mouse will be a problem in the future with the current material that is being used.

Customizable buttons using Razer’s Synapse software
He said the mouse works fine just out-of-the-box and you do not need to install any additional software, however the buttons and the scroll wheel will act as the numbers 1 through 5 in the side keypads will act as your 1 and 0 as well as your – and = on the top row.
So if you would like to adjust these buttons then you will have to go to the Razer website and download the Synapse software so that you can fully customize all of the buttons on your mouse.
Along with customizing the buttons you will be able to also change the tracking of the mouse and you will also have the tools necessary to build timed and untimed macros as well as a few other interesting options that this user has found with using the software.
